Change the shipping method for shipments to the 🇺🇸United States.

The decision as to whether or not tariffs will be applied to the product you purchased ultimately rests with the customs inspector. If an inspection determines that the product is subject to tariffs, the prescribed duties will be imposed. These regulations may change in accordance with revisions to the U.S. tariff system. At present, the situation remains uncertain and can change frequently. Please note that this is beyond our control as a seller, though we continue to monitor tariff developments closely.

If UPS, our previous shipping carrier, were to apply tariffs, the additional fees charged by UPS (such as customs clearance and brokerage fees) could become disproportionately high compared to the product price. For this reason, we have switched to shipping via Japan Post, which does not incur such fees. We will continue to respond flexibly should the situation change in the future.

Important Notice Regarding U.S. Import Duties (Effective February)

We would like to inform you about recent changes to U.S. import tax regulations that may affect shipments to the United States.

1. U.S. Import Taxation Since February

Since February, changes in U.S. customs regulations may result in import duties being assessed on incoming shipments.
Regardless of order value, shipments to the United States may be subject to import taxes.

Import regulations and duty assessments are determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and may change without prior notice.

2. Product Classification (HS Code)

All of our computer parts are declared under the following HS code:

HS Code: 8471.90
(Automatic Data Processing Machines – Other Units)

We consistently use this classification for customs declaration purposes.

3. Possibility of Import Duties

Although HS Code 8471.90 has historically carried a base duty rate of 0% under the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule, additional policy-based tariffs may be applied depending on current regulations. *Based on past customer reports, we believe this is highly unlikely, but we cannot guarantee it.

As a result, the following may apply:

• Additional import duties

• State or local taxes (if applicable)

We ship via EMS or ePacket Light (postal service).
Unlike private courier services(UPS, DHL etc), postal shipments typically do not incur brokerage or customs clearance handling fees.

Any import duties or taxes assessed at the time of import are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are determined by U.S. authorities and are beyond our control.

    Note: In the case of ePacket Light, the postal worker will not come to our office to collect the package, so we have to take it directly to the local post office and send it out. Therefore, it may take up to 3 days to ship in some cases. Please note this in advance. Of course, the fact that we chose this shipping method emphasizes that we are always striving to provide our customers with cost-effective delivery. If you are in a hurry, please use EMS.
    
    (*1)The shipping accidents we have experienced so far have not involved ePacket Light, but please note that there is no damage compensation for ePacket Light, so accidents during shipping may occur. In addition, even if you discover a shipping accident yourself, we cannot compensate you at all. Please be aware that there is always this risk. We recommend using ePacket Light for T-shirts and other items with a low risk of damage, and using EMS for items containing plastic panels or large PCBs.

• Most of our products are small, weighing less than 100g, so even if you order a large amount, it will usually be less than 700g.
  
   

Please note that this shipping method is also in flux. As a small-scale business like ours, we do not do large transactions, so the shipping companies are always offering us fluctuating international shipping rates.

However, if there is a cheap and good shipping method, we will switch to it flexibly, which will lead to good customer service. In any case, additional taxation on computer-related parts is certainly not a welcome development, but we sincerely appreciate your continued support and patronage. Thank you.
