GIBSON 1954 Les Paul Conversion during refinishing
It is very difficult to choose a repair shop for any genre of vintage items that you are attached to. If it's a musical instrument, you may be worried that your guitar will be well managed and properly repaired.
At our company, repairmen who have a career of nearly 30 years are the pillars and repairs are carried out. I've been repairing countless vintage guitars since they weren't as expensive as they are now. Most of the guitars are made by GIBSON and FENDER in the 1950s and 70s. Each model year has its own characteristics, and in addition to the hardware, the painting method and the coil used for the pickup differ, but we will work with a well-known repairman, so please feel free to contact us.
Also, please feel free to contact us if it is difficult to request a repair that you have repaired yourself or that you are not satisfied with because it was repaired at another store. We will respond in good faith.
All musical instruments are tightly managed based on the custody books. Please be assured that we will proceed with the repair with great care in handling.
このギターは2mm程度のズレはありますが、ほとんどセンターでマッチされたトップを持っていました。オーナーのご希望でサンバーストにリフィニッシュしました。画像は中塗り〜レモンイエローまでを仕上げた段階。これからバーストに仕上げていきます。
セットアップとフレット交換がされました。指板Rは7.25inchではなく6inchでしたが、薄い指板はほとんど修正ができませんので、幅は細く高さがわりに高い（1.2mm)のフレットで打ち、Neckjigでフレットの高さにて真っ直ぐを出しています。
AWG#42の50年代〜60年代半ばまでFenderで使用されたコイル。
先程のフォームバーで巻き直しを行っています。直流抵抗値は5.8KΩ程度です。
元の塗装はGibsonの工程を踏んでおらず、木地からやり直しました。バックはレッドフィラーで仕上げています。
トラスロッドの先が舐めておりロッドが効かない状態でした。木部の落とし込みを少し加えて、ダイス加工しました。
2本あるうちの右側がオリジナルフィニッシュですが、こちらを見本に仕上げています。この頃の他フィードバックはフィラーが少し緑っぽいのが特徴ですが、それを再現しています。
フレット交換とナット交換、セットアップを行いました。腰折れがありましたので、指板修正を行っています。
ネックのリフィニッシュ。フェイデッドチェリーを再現しました。
