October 15, 2026: Shipping to the United States. Starting October 15, Japan Post requires customs duties to be prepaid, through a CBP-certified service, on every package sent to the U.S. Because of this, U.S. orders may include an additional charge to cover U.S. import duty and the prepayment service fee.
