This is an adapter developed to allow later Apple II joysticks to be used with the GAME connector (16-pin IC socket) on the logic board of earlier Apple II standard and IIplus. *It is also compatible with the IIe's 16-pin GAME port connector.
It's easy to use, just insert the plug adapter into the 14Pin IC Plug and secure the db9 adapter to the back panel with two screws. The cable used for this is designed to prevent incorrect insertion, so you can use it with confidence.
 
Dic 20 2024, updated to V1.1 PCB: In the case of the RFI logicboard models, there was a possibility of collision with Q3 transistor, so we reduced the size to almost the same as the IC socket to eliminate the interference.
