Gimme New Feet! for Mac, with a New Material!

We believe that quite a few enthusiasts are searching for replacement rubber feet for their vintage Macs. Our previous version, Gimme New Feet!, was well received, but since it was made using resin printing, it adhered too stubbornly to the build plate, making manufacturing difficult. The defect rate was quite high.
Due to these production issues, we had to discontinue the product for a while. However, after testing a new TPE material, we found it to be highly effective, so we're excited to introduce it now!
 
What is TPE?
 
TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) is a versatile material that combines the properties of both plastic and rubber. It behaves like rubber at room temperature but softens like plastic when heated. Compared to TPU, a similar material that we previously tested, TPE is softer and provides better grip—making it an ideal choice for our product.
 
Design
 
The shape and thickness are faithfully reproduced at a 1:1 scale based on the original Macintosh rubber feet dimensions. *Please note that the surface of the "Gimme New Feet!" that rest on the ground is rough due to the texture of the 3D printer's PEI build plate, which mainly resembles the plastic case surface of a vintage Mac(It's finely uneven).
In older Mac models, the rubber has often been compressed over time, making the contact surface appear wider, but we recognize that the original size was the same. Additionally, due to the uneven surface of the build plate, slight texture variations may be present on the final product.
These feet are attached with 3M double-sided tape. To all the enthusiasts who have been struggling to find replacement rubber feet—your wait is finally over!
