Product Description
64KB Expansion RAM Card for Apple IIe (AUX Slot) – 64K IMP-RAM CardThis is a 64KB expansion RAM card designed for installation in the AUX slot of the Apple IIe.
It expands a standard Apple IIe (with 64KB onboard RAM) to a total of 128KB, enabling the use of software that requires expanded memory.
While the Apple IIe is widely available on the used market compared to other Apple II models, genuine RAM expansion cards are much harder to find. Many used systems are equipped only with 80-column cards that lack RAM functionality. For this reason, we redesigned this expansion card.
Although higher-capacity RAM cards (4MB, 8MB, etc.) are available from other manufacturers, very few programs actually require more than 128KB—aside from RAMWorks and certain DTP software. Therefore, this card is designed around the concept of providing only what is truly necessary. It eliminates unnecessary features, offering low power consumption and excellent cost performance.
