Originally introduced as an exclusive option for the CC-Booster33, this 256KB VRAM SIMM is now available as a standalone product. Featuring a streamlined two-chip architecture, this card is the 256KB equivalent of our 512KB VRAM module.
Our custom PCB design incorporates optimized capacitor placement to significantly reduce power ripple. This enhanced stability makes it an ideal choice for overclocked systems or machines equipped with CPU accelerators.

Technical Specifications:
Memory Chips: We utilize a mix of New Old Stock (NOS) and refurbished chips. 
Important Note on Refurbished Chips: You may notice that the surfaces of these chips have been slightly sanded and re-printed with their model numbers. This is a common practice among Chinese refurbishers intended to "refresh" the appearance of the components. Because the market can sometimes include counterfeit parts, we meticulously inspect and test every chip for authenticity and performance before they are assembled onto our cards.
Speed Rating: While these modules were originally standardized at 70ns, current supply chain fluctuations mean speed ratings may range between 60ns and 80ns depending on the production lot.
Quality Assurance: We never use the inferior 100ns chips often found in this era. Your card is guaranteed to be equipped with high-performance chips rated between 60ns and 80ns.
It has a blue LED that visually indicates when it is powered on.
 
Compatibility
 
This module is compatible with nearly all 68k Macintosh systems equipped with 68-pin VRAM SIMM slots. While some specific Macintosh models cannot address 512KB VRAM modules, this 256KB card offers universal compatibility across supported hardware.
