Idle Hands Micro Paddle is a compact DIY joystick (paddle) kit designed for the Apple II series. It connects directly to the DB9 socket on the Apple IIe / IIc. For Apple II / IIplus, the our separate adapter “DB9 Joystick 2 Plus” ( https://en.infinityproducts.co.jp/product-page/a-joystick-adapter-ic-plug-to-db9 ) is required.
 
Two-player support: By daisy-chaining controllers 0 and 1, two players can enjoy games simultaneously. Note that some titles require both controller 0 and 1 to be connected from the start in order to recognize the paddle.
Two kit options
Standard Kit ($45) – Includes all electronic parts plus a 3D-printed shell case for easy assembly.
Economy Kit ($35) – Includes electronic parts only (no case). An STL file is provided so you can 3D print your own case.
Fully Assembled($53) – Fully assembled and tested production version
Beginner-friendly assembly: All parts are DIP components, so no fine-pitch soldering is required. Even beginners can assemble it with ease.
Classic paddle feel: Despite its small size, the rotary volume control provides the smooth, classic feel of vintage paddle controllers.
